We like hosting events at Billy'o.

If you are looking for a unique venue and experience for your next event, Billy'o is the perfect location. Our multipurpose venue and accommodation facility is located only a short 20 minute drive from Dubbo.  Billy'o Bush Retreat can host weddings, luncheons, dinners, bush morning teas, Christmas parties, team-building days, reunions and many other unique types of events. Billy'o Bush Retreat can accommodate up to 100 guests, with a wide variety of event spaces to choose from. 

The newly built, multipurpose Meet House features reverse cycle heating and cooling, accessibility options, a small commercial-sized kitchen, private indoor amenities, a bar, whiteboard, TV and audiovisual equipment. This space can be utilised in a number of different ways, ranging from a cocktail, corporate or banquet format. Chairs and tables can be provided on request and are included in the venue hire fee.

Next to The Meethouse you will find The Treehouse nestled among the grassy landscaped outdoor picnic area. Featuring a wooden boardwalk, pretty jacaranda trees and a covered 25-seat picnic table, beautifully built by hand from recycled materials. Additional seating can be added to this area if required. Suitable for small to medium-sized groups, who enjoy an outdoor event. Also a perfect mingling or networking area for a main event held in The Meethouse when hiring Billy'o Bush Retreat exclusively. When hosting an event across the whole property it would be the prettiest spot to watch the sun go down.

Adjacent to The Treehouse is The Chaff Shed, home to The Cutter Bar, the outdoor bar servicing all our venues.  The Chaff Shed is a covered but open-sided, purpose-built shed featuring a collection of rustic Australiana memorabilia. A quirky shed with plenty of rustic charm, this space is again very versatile and can be set up in various formats. Perfect for the cocktail-style event with its proximity to the bar, however our own custom-made furniture also compliments the space for a sit-down event. Suitable for medium to large-sized groups.

Our biggest event space The Dunny Door room is an indoor, fully enclosed shed with a large sliding door featuring views of the entire property. In close proximity to The Chaff Cutter Bar, The Dunny Door room features a concrete floor and rustic styling, lined with a selection of beautifully worn dunny doors. A big space, this venue can accommodate up to 100 people in a cocktail setting or a smaller number in a banquet style.

Complimentary WI-FI access is readily available and catering, tea and coffee can be arranged on request at an additional cost for any venue. Billy'o is also home to a unique custom-built stage for any event requiring music.
